University of Nevada, Reno researchers get $1 million hydrogen research federal grant

"Researchers at the University of Nevada, Reno are using a $1 million federal grant to ramp up the amount of hydrogen generated from water in order to increase its output as a source of clean energy. The U.S. Department of Energy awarded the grant to UNR's Materials Nanotechnology Research Group to fund the project under the direction of Manoranjan Misra, a professor in the Department of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering.
