Spam-Slammer IronPort Hits Fast Track

"The email software company, which protects Dell Computers, Ryder System Inc., Johns Hopkins University and other customer emails against spam and viruses, tripled revenue to $31 million last year and expects to be profitable this year. Instead of recipients filtering out "bad" emails from known spammers or analyzing emails' content, IronPort enables senders to get on a "good guy" list, posting a bond to vouch for their reputation and ensure emails aren't filtered as spam."
