Toshiba to Adopt IIJ's Anti-spam Solution

"Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ), one of Japan's leading Internet access and comprehensive network solutions providers, today announced that it will provide Toshiba Corporation (Toshiba) with an anti-spam solution. The anti-spam solution being provided to Toshiba consists of two components: IIJ Edge Filter and IIJ Spam Mail Filter. The IIJ Edge Filter identifies and restricts mass spam mail that is sent to a single server in a short period of time, as well as mail that clearly contains suspicious content. The IIJ Spam Mail Filter determines a spam rating for all incoming mail messages and filters them on that basis. IIJ Edge Filter was implemented in December of last year, while IIJ Spam Mail Filter will be implemented in June of this year." Source: Business Wire
